Artwork description:
In designing the work, I was inspired by the tale of the NAKED KING. The king I have shaped, however, is aware of his nakedness, and places his crown aware of him, rests and meditates on his condition free from prejudices and dreams of power.
This clay sculpture is the master model for castings. The sculpture is sold cast in bronze. The foundry work will take at least 3 MONTHS. The casting is limited to six artist originals - each unique in patina. There is a tradition in which six castings are considered "original-artists". The number of the originals will be engraved on the statue. A certificate of authenticity is provided.
