Original artwork description:

The Mountain Road is a view of Sally Gap in county Wicklow, Ireland.

It's a very open space with amazing views all around that displays a patchwork of colour and light that reflects the changing patterns each weather front, each time of day, each season bring.

The luscious violets and browns of the bogland give this painting a mood of autumn when the days are fresher and the luminosity is diminished and yet it feels cosy.

This painting is ready to hang.

Materials used:

Oil on deep edged beech panel ready to hang (no need to frame)
