Original artwork description:

An original impressionistic painting of the moon and wild flowers.

This is a very romantic piece of art both in sentiment and design. I firstly built up an underlying textured base to exaggerate areas such as the area around where I was to put the moon.

The moon illuminates the grasses and wild flowers of the countryside, all of which have been beautifully and painstakingly built up with thick paints. I use pallet knives, splashing techniques, my fingers and brushes to create my tactile art and this is no exception to the depth and interest found in all my work.

The deep edged canvas has been painted black at the edges, it has been varnished and is strung at the back ready for hanging.
