This romantic painting depicts lovers in rapture and is partially inspired by song lyrics ... it depicts a woman and man, hands raised and entwined to become a tree cradling the moon in its foliage.

He holds a large pearl of moonlight in his fingers; she is clothed in beads of the night's pearly light ... her breasts mirror the crescent moon and her bodice hosts tiny droplets which have flowed down their arms from the heavens, to rest on their bodies and then be carried away in the flowing grasses - a river of time.

I have used Winsor & Newton watercolour and Derwent Inktense pencils on Indian handmade paper.

Some of the photographs show the edge of the paper and I have also created a Computer Generated Image of the painting in my sitting room, to give an idea of the size of the painting hanging in a dark frame.
