And all are thinking of how to survive
In China we have friends
And our hearts are stretching to their end
But how can you feel their fear?
As they have also loved ones so dear
So much to bear

In the Square the mood is subdued
When they order their food
Will this be a pandemic ?
Or just an epidemic?
Amidst it all. Love will survive and thrive
Friendships will stay alive
And in this market square
life goes on.
At least for now
As this is a situation so rare.
And prayers go up for a cure, somehow.
