Stretched out between the busy present-day life pursuing personal career and in the same time keeping their feet on the ground and not get carried away The Modern Man has the nearly impossible task to stay whole.
The choice of the materials to create that installation is meant to represent the hidden and not forces inside of a person. The tension of the harden metal springs is ideal to show the side effects of that constantly rising pressure to “reach higher” while standing firmly.
And what is a better symbol of a person reaching the limits of the human physiology than a ballet dancer. An example of absolute commitment often undermining the damage one gets on the way.
