Original artwork description:
This is an original watercolor painted from the sketch made during my plain air painting session in Salzburg. Salzburg is known for the Sound of Music film, and as the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The Mirabell Garden is one of my favorite places in the city to explore over seasons, as it is always top maintained and full of baroque floral arrangements. Except the garden, the painting shows the first view of the Salzburg Fortress (Festung Hohensalzburg) on top of the Monchsberg hill.
