Original artwork description:
This is an original watercolor painted in July 2015, during my plain air painting session in Salzburg, the city known for the Sound of Music film, plus as the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The Mirabell Garden in Salzburg is one of my favorite places to explore over seasons, as it is always top maintained and full of baroque floral arrangements. Except the garden, the painting shows the first view of the Salzburg Fortress (Festung Hohensalzburg) on top of the Monchsberg hill.
"The Mirabell Palace Garden" is painted on high quality Arches 300 gsm. It is sold unframed.
