Original artwork description:

Dreamlike image of blue island on a sea of gold. this painting is gesso dribbled on to dutch metal and gold leaf, then sprinklings of pure colour pigment and detailed in acrylic, so its quite organic. I pour it on and see what appears to me! Deer are thought of as the messengers in japanese shinto wander through the hills leaping waterfall to bring a message of hope. This blue reminds me of dutch delft pottery.

Materials used:

Gold dutch metal, 23 carat gold, organic gesso, powder pigment, acrylic
