Inspired by a recent trip to Africa, McCullock has employed her innovative use of mixed media to create this highly textured, contemporary painting of Lake Turkana.

Showcasing a mixture of rich of brown, gold and ochre pigments for the dramatic landscape. Contrasting pearlescent inks and high gloss resin have been artfully employed to create a dazzling lake. Colourful tribal figures with their heavy burdens are painted impasto with a palate knife. The result is a 3 dimensional image designed to deliver a wow factor.

Presented on a sturdy wooden panel in order to fully support the myriad of texture. The sides of the panel have been painted in order to alleviate the need for framing.

Signed and wax sealed on the reverse.

Supplied with hardware ready to hang.
