A woman runs up an elevated road in the direction of a man holding a briefcase who partially turns to see behind him.

One of a series, each depicting a scene in which 2 people meet. The meeting may be intended, unintended, felicitous, romantic, vexatious, sad, fleeting moments where the people don’t know each other, or even stalking. Ambiguity and mystery is deliberate as it is intended that the viewer adds their own back story to each occasion.

Charcoal on stretched linen, with side tacks. Sprayed with several coats of fixative. Hooks and wire added to back for hanging before sending.
