The Meadow
Original Acrylic Painting

This original acrylic painting is on stretched canvas and paper.
The painting is drawn from field notes in which I quickly sketched and wrote my impressions of a very particular time in a specific place. Later these sketches and words formed the basis of paintings. .
The painting is varnished with layers of silk varnish for protection and a gentle sheen.

The painting is stretched over a wooden frame that is fitted with hanging fixtures making it completely ready to hang.
