I have just spent another few days in Zermatt, a skiing resort in Switzerland, and, as always, I'm fascinated by the Matterhorn.
I took loads of pictures and also made sketches to be able to work from.

The Matterhorn is the iconic mountain of Zermatt and of Switzerland. In fact, the unusual shape of the Toblerone chocolate is based on the shape of the Matterhorn.

The north face is usually in shadow, in winter, and can be very cold.
