Original artwork description:

It's very common in my home country, most people wear different faces depending on where you are, so you should always be prepared to wear the right mask efficiently. In this work I am trying to represent one of the masks that I would have had to wear if I lived in Cuba right now. With this mask I would be hiding my true identity, symbolized by the tree with a fruit that comes out of my head, representing the freedom to choose how to live in peace and tranquility, without anyone questioning the right to say what I think. Freedom that I have enjoyed in the years I have lived in the United States up to now.

Materials used:

Acrylic and Ink
