Venice is a wonderful city that I visited long ago, even before the pandemic, long before the pandemic. I was impressed by Venice. After all, I love history, I love old architecture. It is probably impossible to live in Venice for a long time. But I would like to visit it many more times. In this picture you can see a small fragment of the Venetian canal with gondolas, in the distance you can see the Campanile of St Mark's Cathedral.
The painting is painted with acrylic colours on cotton canvas glued on cardboard.
It is painted smoothly, without texture. The colours are restrained, ochre and umber, mostly.
