I live and work near the sea and the majesty and movement of the water influence much of my work including this painting. This painting is called The Magical Ocean. It is a statement abstract watercolour painting. It depicts a visually rich, illusionary landscape. Inspired by sunlight dancing on the sea. It is bright and positive.

Made by adding layer upon layer of watercolour paint. It features gold watercolour detailing and ink details. It is painted on beautifully heavy watercolour paper made from 100% cotton and featuring a deckled edge.
