This collage really makes me smile! I saw a VW Camper on the beach in Cornwall and the whole image was just fantastic! A perfect sunny day and a gleaming VW camper.
The little dog admittedly was on the ground rollicking in the sand but I bet he could get up on the roof of the camper with a little help and he would be a great look-out up there with the wind in his ears!
I have used mixed textiles such as different scarves etc to create a real depth to the beach and it does looks great. There is some embroidery and gouache for details.
The collage is backed with a heavy white cotton with a channel at the top with a dowel with hooks so it is ready to hang. Alternatively, the collage could be framed.
It has been initialled on the front and signed on the back.
