THE LOOK OF LOVE is an original painting of a Golden Labrador. Labrador's are bouncy, eager to please, loyal and probably one of my favourite dogs. I have one myself and she is truly my best friend, although sometimes it's rather like living with Tigger from Winnie the Pooh!
Looking into the background of the Labrador breed, they are originally from Newfoundland in Canada, their ancestors belonged to fishermen. They were known as the "St John's Water Dog", and were responsible for retrieving nets, ropes and even fish.
This Labrador is looking lovingly at its owner, with it's gentle nature and bright intelligence, it is no wonder we love these dogs so very much.
