'ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE' William Shakespeare monologue from 'As You Like It'
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players.
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages.
I am painting a series of 'self-portraits' using animal references as metaphors to portray traits of character and stages of life. I am enjoying this concept far too much though to have only seven stages. The Look is depicting a moment when words are not needed to reprimand a child ... all it takes is 'that' stare..teachers and parents use this expression.
