Original artwork description:

Based on a photograph taken at Trebarwith Strand, Cornwall, during an Easter Holiday, I have tried to capture the movement of the wave as well as the sunlight reflecting off of the spray and the depths of the shadows as the wave curves over. There is an element of glow-in-the-dark acrylic paint that only shows in full darkness after exposure to bright light for several hours. It is not noticeable in daylight.

The title comes from the latest album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the song 'The longest wave'.

Acrylic paint on stretched cotton canvas, with glow-in-the-dark acrylic incorporated within the painting. This canvas is a box canvas with painted sides, ready to hang.

Postage - this is a large canvas so will cost more to ship as it will need a sturdy box. The cost is for shipping, packaging and insurance.
