THE LONG WAY HOME

is a unique original oil painting on stretched canvas measuring 100 cm x 100 cm x 5 cm. Painted as an emotional, positive, response to the slow climb back out of the worldwide Covid-19 lockdowns.

The stretcher frame is made from high quality wood from sustainable forests and the profile is in one single piece.I use a professional quality Stretched Block Canvases 380 gsm , 100% cotton. Primed with a low-absorbency universal primer.

The canvas can easily be hung without further framing due to the stability of the thick stretchers. which have a cross support bar for increased strength.
