The long way (home) is the result of several photoshop sessions held to match the picture of a lone travelling child (my nephew Andrea) with an environment that could best explain the meaning of the artwork. The message of this piece is that we travel/look for something we don't know since we are children but sometimes what we search for is just our home. Also, what we want we can find home/within ourselves better than anywhere else.

This painting is an oil on linen stretched on a wood canvas. Dimensions are 44x50x2cm (17.3x19.7x0.8in). The painting was sold in 2019 and it is part of a private collection in Italy.
