The Lonely Tree - The Trees are fascinating me. I made several paintings inspired by their majestic posture, by their change of colors with the seasons and by the variety of forms ... The Tree is for me a continuous source of inspiration. I have created this painting by using the "alla prima" technique. The volume of the painting is created by using a sculpting gel which is giving depth and life to the subject. The strong contrast between the warm and cold colors used for the background of this painting, adds even more importance to the main subject: The Tree.
