In this moody painting of “The Lone Tree”, I wanted to express solitude, but also strength. When I am alone I can choose to go direct my attention on the inside or the outside. To focus on my inner world, where I can find peace and stillness, or to focus on the material world, with ever searching feelings of gratification. What shall I choose in this moment? The picture continues around the edge of the canvas but can be framed with a frame of your choice. It is ready to hang.
