Following on from past Big Blue and Big Blue Horizon paintings.
In this work I have explored what it feels like during the twilight period of the day whilst out in a corn field gazing at the distant chestnut tree. The sky is deep Blue Ultramarine set off by strong earthy tones of the freshly cut corn field.
Painting mediates between clean flat washes of colour to heavy intense 'impasto' thick layers of paint.
Painted on very high quality thick cotton canvas and stretched over Gallery style Braced wooden stretcher frame.
Painting will come varnished and ready to hang with sealed in certificate to the rear and signed of course.
Please note edges of the work will be white.
Oil paint on canvas over professionally made deep edge cross braced frame.
