Few years ago, on my first visit to Beijing, China, at was during the China National holiday I among the ten of thousands were visiting the Forbidden city. I saw this little girl being carried on her father's shoulder she was wearing a reproduction head dress for the empress which is a popular souvenir. Centuries ago, that type of headdress was reserved for the empress and the high consorts only. I like her look of curiosity and wonders in her eyes.
