Soft pastel on mount board, based on drawings and photographs made after winter rain fall in a South Yorkshire park near my home. The puddle reflections bring an extra dimension to the space and to the atmosphere - it felt to me as though the trees were an audience, a gathering crowd, leaning in to listen.
