I am happiest outside in nature, In a wood by the sea or indeed a flower garden.
There is something so oldie worlde about this garden, I felt it with each step, a feeling of a past time and a beauty I felt desperate to paint.
I wanted to capture the visual beauty of this scene but also the deep feelings it stirred within me. So I truly painted from the heart I let it all out and followed all my intuition.
I love this piece.
