This is one of a series of paintings of some of the more unusual areas of the UK. I love visiting Dungeness and walking over the pebbles and shingle on the edge of Romney Marsh in Kent, South-East England where you can find many unusual plants unique to the area.
The light in the area highlights flat and bleak landscape which has a few buildings dotted around the beach including this lighthouse and a few fishermen's huts.
I have used watercolour, ink and gesso on watercolour paper in this painting which is sold framed and ready to hang.
