This artwork of mine showy you the lighthouse in the harbor of Povoa do Varzim, Portugal.
Actually, what inspired me in this landscape is the contrast between man-made beauty of the lighthouse and its surroundings and the force of element – great strong waves with there natural power. I wanted to show you the fight between protection and chaos.
When painting I almost physically felt cold sharp splashes of water on my hands and face! And I am sure this artwork will give this fantastic feeling to any home!
