Original artwork description:

This painting was inspired by mood rather than imagery. I experimented with textures and structure in this work. Many layers of natural material including marble dust and pigments was built up with washes of paint running into the crevices and cracks of the structures. This created a lovely depth in the work. I followed my intuition in this pieces being guided by the material I was working with.

The painting comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

Hooks and cord are attached to the back - the painting is ready for hanging.
