Artwork description:

An original limited edition multi-block linoprint.

This print celebrates the amazing lifespan of the world's longest living mammal.

Once I have designed the image, I transfer it to lino, which I then hand-carve. I print the linoprint in my studio, using a roller press. As each print is individually printed, there may be slight variations in tone and colour.

This print is made using three separate linoblocks, which are each individually inked and printed in different colours. Here I have used sky blue, sea green and petrol blue oil-based inks on smooth white Zerkall paper. Each print has the title, edition number and my signature hand-written in pencil beneath the image. This edition is limited to 50 prints.

The image size is 41x31cm and the paper size is 51x38.5cm.
