I had the good fortune to hear and meet Les Paul at Fat Tuesdays jazz club in NY one evening, where the photo that served as a basis for this work was taken. He had broken his arm badly in a road crash and, unable to fix his elbow, had it set rigid in the playing position. But he was in good form that night and his playing was legendary. The colours are deliberately reminsicent of 70's Pop, and I even added silver ink to give it extra glitter.

Materials used:

Silkscreen on Arches Paper, Butol based inks.
