Original artwork description:

This is the sixth drawing in a series of seven Pastel pictures drawn “en plein air” on a beautiful afternoon in Tamsui, New Taipei City, Taiwan.
It was one of those special days when the sunset colours slowly changed and seemed to last longer than usual, illuminating the sky and the slowly flowing river.
In this picture I changed my view from looking along the river out to sea to looking across the river towards Guanying Mountain. As it was a beautiful clear day the early evening sky was still lit up by the last light of the sunset. I love this time of day after the sun has gone down and the daylight slowly fades into the darkness of the night.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver to every country at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
