Original artwork description:

This artwork reminds me a lot of one of my early paintings on the theme of cities and people. It was exhibited in Chicago in 2016 and garnered a lot of attention; it was sold on the opening night. I have only a photo of the artwork, but I vividly remember it: a couple arriving to a city at night.

This piece carries a similar meaning, a couple shares a kiss in the night of a city that is about to sleep. The stars are within the space where they embrace, symbolizing that the beauty of love is all around them, inside, close to them, and in everything that surrounds them.
