The painting is about new beginnings, about what it feels like to turn the page or to try something different. There is often the feeling of taking a leap in the dark, but in this hyper-connected world it is almost never a private leap, we also have to deal with those who watch and often judge our first attempts.

Composition is inspired by Cavu natural pools, in southern Corsica, France.
