Here's a beautiful chicken that I painted after a visit to the Llama Park on the edge of the Ashdown Forest. They have many animals and birds roaming around and I was so struck by the plumage that I had to make a painting. It was a delight to capture the bright colours in luscious oil paint. He's situated in a calm, soft landscape to contrast with the bold marks in his feathers.
It's painted oil on standard depth canvas, ready to be framed, but strung on the back.
