Artwork description:

This photo was taken while riding a motorcycle in Laos in 2014. This photo is on film, the overlay was also done on film. There is no Photoshop and processing.
This is the city of Luang Prabang, a former colony. I was struck by the duality of this world. We drove all over Laos on a motorcycle and the only "civilization" and something interesting in terms of sights turned out to be only where the colony was.

As an artist, I work with the polysemy of the concept of "migration", I am looking for new facets of a multicultural and multiethnic world community.
Dynamic perception, rejection of settled life, migration - in my artistic practice, these are tools for the "mental map" re-actualization, a way to see more clearly, dropping again and again the automaticity of perception. Nomadism as an instrument of cognition and estrangement, a hormone of fresh perception, transferred to the field of art, allows you to leave room for a miracle, for the manifestation of life itself.

Photo printed on professional canvas Kodak 365 gsm.
It is also possible to print in other sizes, write to me if this is relevant for you.

The painting is carefully packed and will be delivered to you by international courier service within 4-7 days, depending on your destination.

NOTE: The images in-home settings might not be to scale, and serve for illustration purposes only.
