This painting belongs to a series that is being developed about the city of Madrid. The subject of this painting are people and characters who passed through this city and made it and make it what it is today. These world-famous people are surrounded and highlighted with the shine of the resin; but in reality it is all the other anonymous people who make Madrid, and any city, what it is. These anonymous people are ultimately represented only by monochrome circles that could well be the pattern on a chulapa's dress.
