Family scene at the beach, wash painting on old paper. 21 x 29.7 cm.

On thick old yellowed paper, a woman and her two children in a landscape like a bay with a small cliff with trees, worked in a watercolour spirit, with diluted and melted acrylic. The characters are sketched in pencil and bleached with diluted acrylic, white highlights suggest patterns. The spirit is resolutely retro and romantic. On the unbleached paper background the colours are blue/green, white and gold powder effects.

Acrylic, pencil, format 21 x 29 7 cm cm. The work is framed in 25.5 x 35.5 cm format, the frame has a retro spirit, chiselled in bronze finish. If you would like to purchase this unframed work please ask me to adjust the price.
