My work explores the language of figurative sculpture but with a conceptual twist that engages and attracts the viewer.
The Hero Inside Us All explores the role that superhero comics play in the memory and self expression of our childhood dreams. Do we ever stop wishing we had super powers. The wall mounted dynamic figure appears to fly out of the wall. It is only when you closely examine the wall sculpture that you discover that it is covered with images from Superman comics and then the flying composition makes sense.
