Original artwork description:
This oil painting is about the wild Hérault gorges in the south of France. It was realised on a linen canvas in successive glazes over a period of several months. This technique gives depth and luminosity. Watercolour studies I had made on site (between 'le pont du diable' and the village of Saint- Guilhem le désert) in January 2019 were used as studies. This work is ready to hang and sold with a certicicate of authenticity.
