Artwork description:

I’m fascinated and drawn to Tribal art, textiles, masks and jewellery. I’m always on the look out for inspiration and images from Africa are a constant fascination to me.
I came upon a historical photo of a tribeswoman wearing an intricate plaited headdress and knew it would be captured perfectly as a linocut.
I have made a limited edition of only 10 reduction linocut prints each with a slight variation in colour.
There are just five in these earth coloured tones.
Please be aware that as these are hand-pressed there will be variations in texture on the surface of the artwork and faint creases and slight ink marks due to the handmade nature of the work. These are signs that tell you they were made by hand.
