The head of a dog was made from a very soft type of stone. This small sculpture was carved out by hand. This sculpture was made in impressionistic style, figurative and naturalistic .
"I saw a dog's head in this stone. I almost always do that before work, so that I first have something like a conversation with the stone. And then the stone gets its shape." Because of its natural beauty, the stone is left in its natural state and intentionally not evenly polished. It has a nice white color with only a few flecks of color.
The dog looks very alive. And is highly recommended for a people who love dogs or as a gift.
The sculpture has no base, it can stand on any surface. But there is an additional black stone base to use as a pedestal if desired.
