The handmade pastel painting "Thessaloniki, Greece" was drawn according to my sketches and photographs following my plein air travel in Greece in 2021.

My journey began from the city of Thessaloniki. I dreamed of getting here and seeing ancient monuments of architecture and Byzantine art since the time I was studying icon painting.

And finally the dream came true and I saw a beautiful city with its temples, icons, frescoes and mosaics.

The city is very ancient and picturesque, the traditions of many cultures are intertwined in it. The painting depicts the "White Tower" from the side of the city and is its hallmark.

Residential buildings and cozy cafes are picturesquely located near the tower, people in the foreground add life to the city landscape.

The picture turned out to be very interesting in color, I tried to convey the atmosphere of this place.

The format of the picture is 50x35 cm.

Materials:
The painting is drawn with professional pastel crayons on top quality French pastel Canson paper. Especially for this work, I took lemon-colored paper. A colored lining under a layer of pastel painting gives the overall flavor of the composition and enhances its sound.

Delivery:
Delivery at my expense worldwide.
I will arrange it in several protective layers for a good preservation of the picture.
First, into acid-free paper and cellophane, then into cardboard.
Mail delivery. In time, delivery will take approximately 10-20 days from previous experience.

All my paintings are original and unique, no one else in the world has such a thing and most likely never will, because I do not like to repeat my subjects in painting. I consider this a great advantage, because you, as the owner of my work, will be pleased to know this fact.

I save all the funds raised from the sale of my paintings to make my dream of a workshop on wheels come true.
In such a van I will live, travel and paint.
