The handmade painting "A House in the Carpathians" was painted from life during my plein air travel in the Carpathians in 2020.
He lived in the vicinity of Verkhovyna in the Carpathians. One day, in search of a motive for drawing, I climbed with a bicycle to a nearby hill called Magurka, wrote a sketch. When I was finishing the sketch, Aunt Pasha came up, we got to know each other, talked.
It was already in the evening and Aunt Pasha invited me to spend the night with her and I agreed. And in the morning I climbed a little higher up the hill, saw this interesting motive and drew from nature. I wanted to convey the freshness of the autumn morning.
The work was painted by professional watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.
Also in my shop on Artfinder you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein airs in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Greece. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes, painted from nature.
Watercolor painting technique is special and very different from other painting techniques. The advantages and features of watercolor painting are that it is difficult to repeat. The picture is created in a single copy, it is a unique work of art and no one else will have such a picture.
All the proceeds from the sale of my paintings go to the realization of my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus that I will equip and will live in, travel and paint in it.
