Original artwork description:

Once upon a time, long, long ago the Dragons lived on earth with humans in perfect harmony. The Dragons were kind and noble and taught mankind many many things. But the Humans were not satisfied and became greedy, cruel and selfish. They saw how clever and magical they were, but the Dragons decided to only give the humans, in gradual steps, what they could handle.
The humans being impatient began to steal the Dragons eggs, when they hatched they kept the babies in captivity and started to raise them to become weapons of destruction for their futile wars. The humans began killing each other and the beautiful animals that were present on the earth.
The Dragons were angry, but mostly very sad and decided to retreat back into their own realm. When this happened the humans were so angry at the Dragons leaving, so they called them monsters and blamed them for all the bloodshed and bad things that began to happen to them.
The Dragons are still there today in their own realm, watching, guarding and hoping that one day the humans will return to their true nature and that the Dragons can return to the Earth realm and live amongst the humans once more in peace and harmony.
The sides are painted so no real requirement to frame.
