It is of two working girls after a long night trying to find energy to carry on. The women on the left contorts her body to show her breasts where the girl on the right cant help but show her disdain and tiredness. They hold each other on the surface to appear more attractive to the male lesbian fantasy but the reality is they are supporting each other emotionally without knowing it. I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
