Original artwork description:

A detailed ink drawing of an old wallnut which dominates my yard. The structure of its bark never fails to intrigue me. Drawing it is kind of addictive so I`ll probably do a whole series of these tree trunk/branch studies. They almost feel like doing a nude figure study of a human, except the variety tends to be infinitelly richer. (For example, the branch configuration, the dynamism which it gives to the drawing is unique and frankly, unlike anything else.)
