This is a preparatory sketch made before progressing to paint a large scale oil on canvas of the same subject.
I love the dramatic effect that using ink creates and the dripping veiling takes its own path ...... making every mark counts that can’t be changed!
My series of female portrait were selected for their suggestive alluring poses.
